The healthiest green detox juices can sometimes have the worst possible taste! They are bitter and unpleasant, or strange odor. But not these 3! We have discovered some delicious vegetable and fruit combinations to help detoxify the body. Do a try and find your favorite!
Parsley, celery and pineapple juice
Recipe: 1 parsley link, 3-4 green celery stalks, 1 small cucumber and 2 slices of pineapple.
The classic combination for this juice is with parsley and celery. The pineapple adds the sweetness of the juice, and the cucumber, very rich in water, dilutes the strong taste of parsley.
Benefits in detox: parsley cleanses the kidneys and detoxifies the liver. Celery helps eliminate toxins; cucumber is diuretic; pineapple contains bromelain, a digestive enzyme that helps detoxify the body.
Green apple juice and ginger
Recipe: 2 green apples, 2 centimeters ginger and 1/2 lemon without peel.
Tips: If the juice is too spicy for you, because of the ginger, you can add another apple.
The juice is sweet at first, and as you drink it, you will feel the ginger jitter (but it’s a nice one!).
Benefits: The juice is rich in vitamins A, B and C, cleanses the liver and removes the mucus from the body. Apples and lemons are rich in antioxidants and flavonoids and have anticancer properties, and ginger cleans the body stimulating digestion, circulation and sweat.
Spinach, apple and carrot juice
Recipe: 2-3 cups of spinach, 2 apples and 3 carrots.
Spinach can have a slightly bitter taste, especially if you use old spinach juice. Combine it with apples and carrots – another classic duo in detox juices. Sweeten spinach juice and infuse it with calcium, potassium, iron and magnesium.
Benefits: Spinach is good in detoxification! It is rich in vitamins from the B-group, as well as vitamin A, C and K. Strengthens the body and improves the functioning of the immune system, but it is also a good source of fiber that helps to clean the colon!
