5 Things to Do After Eating High Fat Meals

High LDL cholesterol means a predisposition for heart disease so if blood tests have detected such a problem, you should be more careful about eating.

To reduce cholesterol and prevent it, you should avoid cholesterol-rich foods such as fried eggs, cheeseburger, pork steak, fried chicken, strawberries or chicken or pork organs. But what do you do when you want a high cholesterol preparation and end up eating forbidden foods?

Ayurvedic medicine, thousands of years old, has its own recommendations on keeping cholesterol within normal limits.

Here’s what you need to do, according to ayurvedic medicine, after eating high fat cholesterol:

Do not do heavy sports, go for a walk

After a copious meal, rich in oily and hard-to-digest preparations, it is not recommended to do intense exercise. Staying or sleeping is not good after such a meal, so go out for a walk. Walking in an alert rhythm will reduce cholesterol in the blood.

Drink hot or warm water

A glass or two hot or hot water helps remove oils from food. Therefore, the liver, stomach and intestines will be helped to eliminate the fats consumed.

Do not lie down after the meal

If you lie down immediately after a copious meal, all the energy not consumed by the body is stored in the form of fat. So try after every meal to stay awake for another 3-4 hours before going to bed.

Avoid at all costs the consumption of cold food and drinks

Consuming cold foods such as ice cream or juices directly from the refrigerator after a meal rich in cholesterol has a negative impact on the liver, stomach and intestines. So avoid eating such foods right after a meal.

Use ayurvedic herbal remedies

There are a number of Ayurvedic remedies you can take to undo the effects of high cholesterol preparations on the body.

Triphala – a spoonful of Triphala powder dissolved in a glass of hot water or honey, taken twice a day, will reduce blood cholesterol.

Guggul Formula – this natural remedy detoxifies the body, stimulating the decrease of “bad” cholesterol in the blood.

Organic honey – according to Ayurvedic medicine, honey is an excellent antidote for fatty foods, fighting the effects they have on the body.

DIY blend to lower cholesterol

You can even make your own cholesterol-lowering mixture.

You need the followings:

3 parts of turmeric

6 parts of the cucumber

6 parts of coriander

6 parts of the fennel milled

2 parts of schindruf (Greek fan)

1 part of ginger powder

1 part black pepper

Mix the ingredients with the blender, then put the mixture in a container that closes hermetically. Before each meal sip and teaspoon of spices in a small amount of olive oil. Put spice spices in salads but also over high cholesterol preparations because it speeds up metabolism and favors digestion.
